After walking around so much on Saturday in relatively new shoes, I am suddenly aware of the fact that my right leg is longer than my left leg. Every time I take a step I can feel that they are uneven. Katie “I’m studying animal locomotion” McComas looked at the soles of my shoes and confirmed it. Somehow this has also resulted in soreness in only my right calf.

The feeling is pretty annoying and I hope it goes away. It seems like I am most comfortable wearing shoes which have been broken so that the right sole is much more worn down than the left sole. I suppose I could get innersoles or something. I don’t know. I wonder if you can extend your leg at all just by stretching? Probably not, even with my limited knowledge of anatomy I know that the vertebrae are very different from the bones in the leg.
