During Biology today, I realized that the final draft of my english essay was due sixth period, and in my total frenzy to study for the spanish oral last night I forgot to do it. Oops. So I rushed to the media center at lunch, re-typed and re-worded my whole five paragraph essay in twenty minutes, printed it out on the crappy free printer (they charge to use the laser printer!!) and then rushed downstairs to my locker just in time to eat a few chips and pack up for NSL. And that reminds me I have to finish a take home quiz for Spanish. >.< I am so sick of making text files of my journal entries and uploading them, that I am trying out this new script called grey matter. So far it has lived up to my expectations — it’s webased, configurable, and I can archive each entry, not just by days or months, unlike blogger. Also, unlike blogger, it’s on my server, so the only way it’s going to be down is if my domain is down. I’ve configured it so far so it should work fine…I hope every one changes their links if they were linking to http://imaginaire.nu/yearbook/journal.cgi?next=last. Oh well, I’m sure they’ll catch on soon enough. Also, I’m still working out the kinks in this greymatter thing, so if a few navigational links don’t work, bear with me.I talked to some people who took the Spanish oral today, and they didn’t seem to think it was that bad. And they hadn’t studied at all. Apparently our Spanish teacher is really nice, and changes the subject if you are having problems speaking. So now I’m totally relaxed about it. It will come, it will go, and it will be fine. There’s no point in worrying. I’m getting more concerned about the rest of my finals, in particular the writing and multiple choice of Spanish, the biology one and the math one. Those are my hardest subjects, or at least the ones I seem to have the most trouble with. Brittney and I plan to get together sometime in the near future and cram ’til we drop in Biology, Math and a little English/NSL. We are determined to do well on the tests…I think Brittney will, and I hope I can. Boy, all that steam has to go somewhere…
